Game Servers

Here's the list of servers I host related to various audio games. For more information about what an audio game is, please consult the recordings page.

The Road to Rage

This is an audio FPS game which as far as I can tell is the closest thing to Call of Duty. You run around a series of maps trying to kill other players with various weapons. Currently, I host 3 servers which correspond to the various game modes. Each one can be accessed by entering christopherw.me as the host and then specifying one of the following ports.

Download the latest version of RTR. You'll need 7-Zip or a similar program to extract it on systems that don't natively support this archive format.

Sound RTS

Sound RTS is an audio adaptation of a real-time strategy game such as World of Warcraft. You play on a map and must build your army in order to scout for and ultimately destroy your enemies. The game can be played online with other people, computer players, or a combination of the two. In order to connect, select the server called slannon in the server list or manually connect by entering christopherw.me as the address and 2500 for the port

Visit the official website to learn more and download Sound RTS.

Crazy Party

Crazy Party is a combination of a couple types of games. The first mode is a card battle system similar to Yu-Gi-Oh, Hearthstone, or other monster battle games where your objective is to defeat your opponents using many types of cards. There are many elemental types that have the same properties as Pokémon. The other mode is an adventure where you travel through several worlds completing little games that challenge you in various ways that only last for about 2 to 3 minutes. The battle system is fully interactive, while the adventure mode simply allows players to compete based on scores. In order to access the server, select slannon by holding the shift key while accessing the server list to bring up the list of custom ones, or use christopherw.me port 2501 if you wish to connect manually.

Visit the official website for Crazy Party.

Note: the game might be falsely flagged as a virus by your AV software. Please consult the tutorials page for an audio or textual guide concerning how to create exclusions in Microsoft Defender. If you don't use Microsoft's built-in anti-virus solution, please research how to create exclusions in your software of choice and ensure you have sighted assistance to help you complete the process if necessary.
